Accounting Technology Certificate

Program Description

The Accounting Technology graduate certificate is a 9-hour graduate-level experience in the area of accounting technology. The program involves study of topics related to accounting systems, accounting analytics, and emerging technology. Contact the Director of the School of Accountancy for additional information.

Entrance Criteria

Candidates for the certificate program must be admitted to the University as a graduate student. All course work must be approved by the MAcc Program Director.

Required Courses - Credit Hours: 9

Select three of the following:

ACC 741 - Advanced Accounting and Management Information Systems
ACC 751 - Computer Forensics and IT Auditing
ACC 762 - Business and Accounting Concepts for Accountants
ACC 790 - Current Topics in Corporate and International Accounting
3 hours of Accounting Technology related ACC 794 - Internship: Accounting
3 hours of Accounting Technology related ACC 796 - Independent Study-Accounting

GPA Requirement

A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required to earn the certificate.
