EDU 920 - Education Policy: Impact on Teachers, Students, and Local Communities Credit Hours: 3
This course explores how federal, state, and local education policies affect the environments of schools, classrooms, and communities. Students examine political reactions and organizational buffers to policy change and how policies adapt and change to fit locally defined problems. This course will consider different policy implementation approaches, including bottom-up and top-down approaches to policy development and enactment.
Prerequisite: must be admitted to the EdD Program. Lecture Contact Hours: 3
