EDU 900 - Introduction to Doctoral Studies Credit Hours: 1
This course provides an orientation to the Leadership, Learning, and Educational Change doctoral program in education. The course covers topics including the expectations and requirements for completing a doctoral degree, possible research areas, the research process, and the challenges and rewards of pursuing a doctoral degree. Students work collaboratively to develop mentoring plans and maps and initial specialization statements. Students review the program timeline and discuss expectations of the program and the fundamentals of doctoral study.
Prerequisite: must be admitted to the EdD Program. Lecture Contact Hours: 1
