NUR 761 - Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics and Prescriptive Practices for the Advanced Practice Nurse

This course provides an in-depth analysis of clinical pharmacotherapeutics for advanced practice nurses. Including investigation of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, rational prescribing, and evaluation of drug effect on disease and patient. Ethical, regulatory, and diversity in prescribing will be explored.

Prerequisite: admission to a graduate program in nursing or permission.
