Internship experience and training in defense and arms control policy making with a U.S. Government department or agency, a Washington, D.C., based defense policy research institute, or institution of comparable professional experience, including preparation of a written report or research paper based upon the internship. Graded Pass/Not Pass only.

Prerequisite: permission of instructor and acceptance by employer.
