FIN 585 - Portfolio Management and Alternative Assets
Credit Hours: 3 An overview of the portfolio management process for traditional assets such as equity and fixed income securities. Exploration of alternative assets categories, and how such assets can improve the portfolio management outcomes for investors. May be taught concurrently with FIN 685. Cannot receive credit for both FIN 585 and FIN 685.
Prerequisite: B- grade or better in FIN 380 ; and FIN 384 ; and undergraduate business majors must be admitted to degree program. Lecture contact hours: 3
