PSY 317 - Psychology of Addictions Credit Hours: 3 Students in the course will learn basic psychological and psychophysiological processes involved in the progression of substance use, abuse, and addiction. Topics covered will include the conduct of individual assessment, interviewing techniques, and counseling processes. This course is intended to give students an understanding of individual, motivational, and social psychological perspectives.
