ITC 330 - Introduction to Networking Credit Hours: 3 This is an introductory course of computer networking and its applications in business telecommunications. Topics to be covered include history of computer networks, revolution of internet and World Wide Web (WWW), switches, routers, packet switching, circuit switching, OSI models, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, subnetting basics, firewall basics, wireless and mobile networks, and basics of network security.
Prerequisite: ITC 235 ; and undergraduate business majors must be admitted to degree program. Lecture contact hours: 3
