HST 517 - Legal and Constitutional History of the United States Credit Hours: 3 The origins of American constitutionalism, The Philadelphia Convention, the historical context of the changes in the law, in the Constitution, and in the courts since 1789, and the development of the law profession and legal education. May be taught concurrently with HST 617. Cannot receive credit for both HST 517 and HST 617.
