ECE 490 - Supervised Teaching (Infant/Toddler Settings) Credit Hours: 6 Students will observe and then teach under the supervision of cooperating teacher and university supervisor. Participation in extra-curricular activities and other duties as assigned by the cooperating teacher and supervisor will be expected. Students will be involved in the development of lessons, materials, and units for infants and toddlers. In order to receive a grade in this course, the student’s professional portfolio must meet or exceed final criteria. Course will not count toward the major GPA.
Prerequisite: all program courses except CFD 560 and CFD 563 which may be taken with or at the completion of supervised teaching; and a C grade or better in all professional education courses; and current pre-professional liability insurance; and approval for supervised teaching. Typically offered: Fall, Spring
