EEM 519 - Nature Unhooked: Conserving Missouri’s Aquatic Ecosystems Credit Hours: 3 Students will develop foundational field biology skills related to Missouri’s aquatic ecosystems in order to teach in a structured educational mode, via an outdoor setting. This is one of four courses required to satisfy the conservation education area of emphasis. May be taught concurrently with EEM 619. Cannot receive credit for both EEM 519 and EEM 619.
Prerequisite: one college level science course, BIO 100 recommended; GPA of at least 2.75. Lecture contact hours: 2 Lab contact hours: 2
