DTN 391 - Home Food Preservation Credit Hours: 1 This course is designed to teach students the basics of food science as applied to home food preservation at varying times of the year utilizing what is in season. Students will utilize a variety of home canning equipment and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in the production of different home food preservation projects. Variable content course. With different topics, may be repeated to a maximum of four hours.
