COM 210 - Communication Research Methods Credit Hours: 3 A survey of the quantitative and qualitative methods most commonly used for research in communication. Topics include the nature of the research process; research ethics; academic vs. applied research; evaluating research; and a discussion of specific research methods such as experimental design, statistical interpretation, survey research, individual and group interviewing, sampling and polling, content analysis, ethnography, and qualitative analysis techniques.
