ART 345 - Digital Fabrication Credit Hours: 3 The course focuses on development of technical skills in computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) in art and design, and introduces contemporary artists and designers using digital fabrication approaches. Techniques covered include 3D modeling and scanning, 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling. The instructional process includes lecture, critique, and supervised studio practice.
Prerequisite: ART 101 and ART 110 . Lab contact hours: 6
