Program Description
The Certificate in Conflict and Dispute Resolution provides an 15 hour graduate-level experience for students, educators, health care workers, business people, managers, workers, or community members who are interested in dispute resolution and conflict processes. The program provides for the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for understanding conflict and resolving disputes. The certificate is interdisciplinary in nature and includes both theory and applied components. The 6 hours of electives allow the student to pursue study of conflict and its resolution in the context of their specific discipline or profession.
Admission Criteria
To be considered for the program, a student must have submit a Graduate Application. Admission to the certificate program requires the following:
1. A bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by agencies recognized by Missouri State University or equivalent education from a foreign university.
2. A GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale for the last 60 hours of undergraduate course work or completion of 9 credit hours of graduate course work with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
3. All additional University and Graduate College requirements for admission to a certificate program.
