Program Description
A graduate certificate in Ranch Management provides students with in-depth knowledge into managing livestock operations including animal management, feed production, and finances. Students must complete an internship as a manager-in-training at Journagan Ranch or other suitable livestock operation where they complete a special project evaluating and alternative practice to add value to the operation. Completion of a graduate certificate in Ranch Management prepares students for advanced placement in livestock management positions.
Admission Criteria
Students must be admitted into the certificate program.

Note:
* These courses are dual listed and may not be taken for graduate credit if the related undergraduate course (AGP 370, AGB 584, AGS 511) was taken. If this is the case, then other graduate level Plant Science, Agricultural Business, and Animal Science courses must be substituted.

Completion Requirements
Students must have an overall grade point average of 3.00 for completion of certificate program.
