Public Affairs Capstone Experience:

One course from the following. ENG 551 may not be taken to satisfy both this requirement and the upper-division creative writing electives requirement.

Pre-1800 requirement:

at least three of the 36 hours taken in the English major must be a pre-1800 literature course:

Minor required (or second major).

Complete one of the following options:

Creative Writing option (15 hours):

Two additional courses from following. A course selected may be the same as the Advanced Creative Writing requirement selection if the student is repeating the course for additional credit. ENG 551 may not be taken to satisfy both this requirement and the public affairs capstone requirement.
