Public Affairs Capstone Experience will be fulfilled by completion of:
Minor required (or second major).
Students may not minor in the same area as their BA major option; students may double-count only six credits between the major option and any minor area. Complete one of the following options:
Art History and Visual Culture option (21 hours):
Core course (3 hours):
In addition to the Art History core courses, complete three additional hours in art history from: Art History (18 hours):
In consultation with advisor, complete 18 hours in at least five of the following areas of art history: Museum Studies option (22-24 hours):
Museum Studies (4-6 hours):
In addition to the Museum Studies core course, complete two courses from the following, in consultation with an advisor: Art History (9 hours) in at least three of the following areas:
Studio Art option (21 hours):
Foundations (9 hours):
In addition to the Studio Art core course, complete three additional courses from the following (9 hours): Studio Emphasis (9 hours):
In addition to the Studio Art core course, complete three additional course, chosen with approval of advisor, in one of the following studio areas: ceramics, new media, drawing, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, or sculpture (9 hours). Art and Design electives (3 hours):
In addition to the core courses, complete three additional hours, chosen with approval of advisor, in art history, new media, or studio art. ART 200 cannot be used to satisfy this requirement. Total Credit Hours: 39-42
