EDC 645 - Multicultural Education and Inclusivity: Theory and Practice Credit Hours: 3
Students will learn to examine, evaluate, synthesize, and apply multicultural education and diversity research, theory, and practice in their professional work. Examination of individual differences in ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, gender, exceptionalities, language, religion, sexual orientation, and geographic area in the context of education and society. Development of skills, knowledge, and dispositions related to teaching and learning in varied settings with diverse learners required of all educators to be effective in a global society.
