KIN 212 - Introduction to Exercise Science Credit Hours: 3 This course is an orientation for students interested in pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. The history of, current trends, and job opportunities in Exercise Science are presented. Research methodology used in the field will be explored, including legal and ethical ramifications of using human participants, through review of current publications. Clinical programs pursued with the degree are discussed. These programs include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Athletic Training, Physician Assistant, and Chiropractic Medicine. Exercise Science majors are required to earn a C grade or better in this course.
