GRY 325 - Rural Geography Credit Hours: 3 This course examines the cultural, environmental, and economic significance of rural places, with a focus on America. It looks at rapidly changing rural landscapes and the many contemporary issues confronting these areas. Topics include rural sense of place, rural economic, cultural, and environmental challenges, the rural Ozarks, and the role of regional and community planning. Field trip required.
