FRN 382 - Literature of the French-speaking World from the 19th Century to the Present Credit Hours: 3 A survey of authors, movements, ideas, and styles in writings from the 19th century to the present from France and the Francophone world. Students will study recurring themes, important influences and revolutions present in a variety of genres and texts written in French (poetry, short stories, plays, correspondence, historical documents, essays). Variable content course. May be repeated to a maximum of six hours.
