FRN 381 - French Literature from the Middle Ages through the Enlightenment Credit Hours: 3 A survey of authors, movements, ideas, and styles in writings from the Middle Ages to the end of the 18th century from France. Students will study recurring themes, important influences and revolutions present in a variety of genres and texts written in French (poetry, correspondence, historical documents, ballads, essays). Variable content course. May be repeated to maximum of six hours.
