KIN 431 - Teaching K-4 Physical Education Credit Hours: 3 75 or higher; and earned a composite score or superscore of 20 or better on the ACT or passed all sections of the Missouri State Board of Education entry examination. Emphasis on current teaching methods, management skills, and curriculum development for teaching physical education to K-4 students. An on-campus lecture/lab and participation in clinical/field experiences in the area elementary schools. A C grade or better is required in this course in order to take KIN 493 or KIN 496 . Cannot be taken Pass/Not Pass.
Prerequisite: KIN 240 and KIN 264 and KIN 270 ; and admitted to Teacher Education; and combined (Missouri State and transfer) GPA of 2.75 or higher; and earned a composite score or superscore of 20 or better on the ACT or passed all sections of the Missouri State Board of Education entry examination.
