AGE 469 - Methods of Teaching in Laboratory Settings


Credit Hours: 3
This course prepares preservice agricultural education teachers to plan, manage, and implement effective instruction in laboratory-based agricultural settings. Emphasis is placed on project-based learning, demonstration teaching methods, and classroom management within agricultural laboratories, including agricultural mechanics, animal science, plant science, land-based systems, and food science. May be taught concurrently with AGE 688. Cannot receive credit for both AGE 469 and AGE 688.

Prerequisite: AGE 318  and AGE 458 ; and 60 hours.
