ART 484 - Contemporary Art

This course surveys artists and ideas from the final decades of the twentieth- and into the twenty-first century. Attention is paid to global arts practices and their relationship to theoretical arguments, social movements, and technological developments. May be taught concurrently with ART 684. Cannot receive credit for both ART 484 and ART 684.

Prerequisite: ART 272.
